European Tech & Innovation is an independent educational guide to the mechanisms that connect European research, programmes, infrastructure, rules, standards and scale-up activity.
Why the site exists
The European technology ecosystem is difficult to understand because responsibility is distributed. EU institutions may set policy or operate programmes, while national and regional bodies implement support, research organisations create knowledge, shared facilities produce evidence, companies organise market delivery, and standards or procurement influence adoption.
This site turns that system into focused routes. It asks where a question belongs, what evidence matters, which level controls the answer and what must be checked at an official source.
What it does not cover
It is not a general technology-news site and does not attempt to duplicate broad publications about artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, renewable energy, consumer products or startup culture. It concentrates on EU-specific mechanisms: programmes, consortia, regional ecosystems, research commercialisation, strategic infrastructure, common digital frameworks, standards and public-sector adoption.
Ownership and independence
European Tech & Innovation is a division of WRS Web Solutions Inc., an Ontario, Canada corporation. The site is not an institution of the European Union and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the European Commission, the European Parliament, the Council of the European Union or any EU agency, programme, network or funded project.
